When the greenstaff have decided that ride-on buggies are not allowed on the course due to poor ground conditions, members and visitors who have a disability as defined under the Equality Act 2010 will be allowed to use them on the holes specified by the greenstaff, unless ground conditions are so bad that a blanket ban has to be imposed on all ride-on buggies. A person has a disability if they have a physical or mental impairment and that impairment has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on their ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities.
As the course has been so wet recently and some buggies have got stuck, it may be necessary to impose a complete ban on some days.
When buggies are allowed in winter, it would be much appreciated if ride-on buggy users could take extra care to avoid really wet areas in order to try to protect the course.
